Performance Opportunities

Troupe member schools have the opportunity to bring a one-act production (no more than 45 minutes in length) to Kentucky Thespian Festival. Troupes may choose to perform only, perform with adjudication, or perform and be screened for Chapter Select to attend International Thespian Festival in Nebraska in June of 2019.

One-act slots are limited and are on a first come first served basis. In order to secure your performance slot, you must complete all of your registration process and have paid your fee. Failure to complete the registration process and/or delay your payment may result in the loss of your performance slot.

All troupes performing at KTF will be required to email their proof of royalties/permission by October 15th.

Please contact if you have any questions.

Kentucky Thespians will be holding auditions for its first ever All-State Show, Among Friends and Clutter by Lindsay Price. To be perfomed at next year's Festival (KTF 2019), this production will bring together actors and techies from all over the state to showcase the immense talent that calls Kentucky its home.

"I'm honoured and thrilled to have my play Among Friends and Clutter chosen for the 2019 Kentucky Thespians All-State Show. It will be exciting to see students from all over the state participate and bring the play to life. Among was my very first produced play and it's amazing to see it staged time and time again." - Lindsay Price
